RV Sheena's Fireball

RV Sheena's Fireball is a 2024 seedling that will likely be released in 2027 that holds a special place in my heart. It's named after my very best friend who died suddenly in September 2025 from acute heart failure at the age of 39. Sheena was a good time gal who made the best of every situation. She was a RN who cared deeply for her patients and always went out of her way to make them feel cared for and special. One of our favorite things to do together was go morel hunting in our local mountains and take a few fire ball shots with us for the day. This variety is named in her memory and all proceeds, when it's sold, will go to her two little boys she left behind, Wyatt and Waylon. 

This striking formal decorative dahlia stands tall on exceptionally long, sturdy stems. Throughout the season, it showcases a captivating color variability, often accented by delicate petaloids that add depth to its 4.5 to 5-inch blooms. In its darker iterations, the petals reveal a sophisticated, subtle picotee edge. Following three years of exceptional performance in our fields, this variety is slated for an official release in 2027—contingent on one final season of consistent growth and beauty in 2026.
